Born in Birmingham, AL, Stacy received her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences from the University of Arizona. After moving to Atlanta in 1998, she received a master's in behavior and learning differences from Georgia State University. While getting her master’s, Stacy worked for Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Then, Stacy led the Davis Learning Center program at The Davis Academy for over a decade. In that role, she oversaw small group direct instruction for children with mild to moderate learning differences, ensured appropriate use of learning accommodations, and provided executive functioning support for the lower and middle school populations.
Dana has a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Florida, and has been teaching in local public and private school systems for over 25 years. She has been exposed to thousands of students with various challenges, and is committed to being an advocate for children and their specific learning requirements. A mother to two teenagers, one with a learning difference, Dana has a unique ability to genuinely connect with children with a combination of compassion and candor.
